Sometimes during time of contemplation, it's good to ask questions and debate business norms that are considered standard. Consider the concept of asking for payment in return for goods or services. Long, long time ago, payments were not made with currency but rather in exchange of other goods or services, known to us now as bartering. In today's world, it would be difficult to build a business model around bartering, as organizations need to pay salaries and need currency to pay for supporting services, as in our case; hosting, IT security, office space, communication, management tools, etc.
We wanted to create a program that would help organizations who need our services, but can't afford to pay. We could, of course give our services for free, but what would be the fun in that. Many start-ups, small consultancies, small departments have so much to offer, other than cash. Many would be happier exchanging services rather than asking for free services.
If you would like to participate in this program due to budget constraints, we'd love to talk.
What's in it for us? For one, we do believe in giving back to society. We already have our Individual solution which is completely free to use, so giving free service is nothing new, but most importantly we do not like elitism. We try the best as we can to keep our services affordable and accessible.
